This month has been a really busy month for Your Dream Wedding & Events. We had 4 weddings this month, but was the last 4 of this year and the last one for this year was last weekend.
So whenever I get to a ceremony or reception site on the day of the wedding, I always seem to find new ways to add special touches and making tables look better than originally envisioned depending on what I have to work with. This normally happens when I find out that after our walk-through of the site that there are going to be additional items added to their wedding.
Here are a few I have done in the past and also recently…
The first one on the left, the middle and right pictures on the middle row, are from a reunion I did. I first saw the venue and then later found out about the budget and this is some of the centerpieces I came up with.
The middle picture on the first row is from a recent wedding. When we originally saw the venue, we had talked about doing the head table one way, but had to think about a different layout because of accessibility. This way, the bride and groom also had an intimate table for themselves while being there with the rest of their bridal party.
The picture on the right on the first row is the altar piece used at their ceremony. On the wedding day, after everything was set up it looked so much better there by the mirror which is the focal point when you enter the hall…so we put one on both sides of the mirrow…it also makes it look like there is more than 2 there.
The picture on the left second row is one I did recently. The bride decided to create pomanders that went on the aisle of the church and had not talked about what she wanted to do with them at the reception hall, so after looking into different options, decided to put them on the focal point of the room…using the ribbon handles and pearl-tipped pins.
The last picture on the third row is of a sand ceremony from last year. I had suggested to the bride and groom to doing a sand ceremony in order to incorporate her son and his sons. I did not know what these would look like and she included the cranberry looking balls and the ring with the birds, so on the day of made it look like this.
